Teamable’s data sample shows attempts from private companies and VCs to recruit execs at Amazon, Facebook and Google at least doubled in October from April 2020. Private companies also target candidates with generous compensation packages, for early- to middle-level engineers, packages are 50% higher on average than at Facebook, Google and Amazon.  Large tech companies over the years have adjusted their compensation as the battle for workers intensifies.
